Privacy Policy

SaldubaCars stores your personal data in accordance with data management rules, for purposes related to its activities and for the purpose of contacting you, for which your consent is required. If you do not want us to store your personal data, we will delete it at your request. The protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data is a fundamental right, and everyone has the right to the protection of their personal data, regardless of their nationality or place of residence. (Article 16(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU)) Data processing may only take place if the data subject gives their explicit consent through a clear affirmative action (by sending their data or documents), such as a written statement (including an electronic statement) or an oral statement, to the processing of personal data concerning them.

The processing of personal data must be lawful and fair.

We store your personal data in accordance with the law, for as short a period as possible, and never pass it on to third parties, unless we are required to do so by law. It is essential for our work to communicate with our tenants verbally or in writing (on various platforms such as Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, and email). The receipt and storage of any data and information sent to us is necessary in order to prepare our contracts, fulfill our obligations under them, carry out our activities, make cars available to our renters, and, if necessary (e.g., in the event of an accident or roadside inspection), they can also prove that they are in lawful possession of the rental car. Of course, any data will only be processed if the Renter sends it to us of their own free will. As this is a car rental, we require a copy of a valid ID card and a valid driver's license for each person driving the rental car. When storing data, and when deciding on and implementing its destruction, we must comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as our accounting and data reporting obligations.
